Introduction

The SA Public Teaching Awards recognise and reward the valuable contributions of hundreds of dedicated and effective public school and preschool teachers, leaders and support staff.  Through the Awards process, seven overall winners receive $20,000 each in professional development grants, for use on courses and programs either locally, interstate or overseas.

This blog provides a forum for the winners to share their experiences with you. While the courses undertaken by the winners will have been chosen to complement their own personal development and the priorities of their school or preschool, they are ultimately undertaken in order to support learning outcomes for children and students.  It is therefore extremely important that the learning and outcomes from these activities are as far reaching and widely distributed as possible.

Over the course of 2013, Natalie, Belinda, Lynne, Angela, Louka, Esther and the team from Andamooka Primary School will be sharing a variety of pictures, videos and stories here.  Their aim is to provide you with an overview of the learning gained from their chosen range of conferences, seminars, school visits, workshops and studies.

Make sure you come back and visit our blog regularly to keep up to date with each exciting new entry.
